Depending on the ship sizes your terminal handles, the gangway needs to reach different heights of deck levels.
Operating a Verhoef gangway at an oil or LNG terminal is easy and efficient. There are clear control panels that make sure that the gangways can be positioned safely and smoothly on the ship’s deck. For an access ladder from Verhoef you can count on a well-proven design, and a construction out of high grade steel and aluminium. A specific surface treatment and special paint systems will make sure the terminal gangway will withstand all climate circumstances.

It is important that the ship-to-shore equipment at an oil or LNG terminal complies with ship or tidal movements. The Verhoef equipment has a fully automated free-wheel-system; once the ladder has been positioned on the ship’s deck and the operation handle has been put into the free wheel position, the gangway will follow all the ship’s movements, by slewing horizontally, moving up or down, sliding in or out.
